Just a Thought: Who will experience eternity? Some think this is a topic only for Christians, but it is not. All of us will experience eternal life. Life is like a hand in a glove. The glove is the outer shell (a temporary dwelling) and takes on the form and functions of the hand inside. The hand is like our soul and spirit - and one day it will withdraw from the outer shell leaving the shell behind, but the hand (our soul and spirit) will remain unchanged and continue living. Where we will live and spend eternity has everything to do with the decision we make while in our temporary dwelling. For those who have placed their faith and trust in Christ, to be absent from the body will be to be present with the Lord. For those who choose their own way, they will be to be absent from the body and the Lord. C.S. Lewis said: "There are only two kinds of people in the end: those who say to God "Thy will be done", and those to whom God says, "Thy will be done." In which group will you be? For "whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved." Rom 10:13
