ATHENS,
Ga.
– Athens-based Piedmont Home Health has earned the Strategic Healthcare
Programs’ Best Superior Performer Patient Satisfaction Award for ranking in the
top 20 percent of all SHP satisfaction scores in 2017.
SHP, a leader in performance improvement for post-acute care providers, provides an annual program to acknowledge home health agencies that consistently provide high-quality service to their patients.
“We are pleased to be recognized by Strategic Healthcare Programs for this achievement,” Pamela Hall, RN, director of Piedmont Home Health, said. “This award recognizes the team’s commitment to our patients and ensuring they receive high-quality, patient-centered care through our expert nursing and therapy services.”
Piedmont Home Health nurses and therapists travel directly to a patient’s home to help through recovery from illness, injury or surgery, serving patients in Barrow, Clarke, Jackson, Jasper, Madison, Morgan, Newton, Oconee and Rockdale counties.
SHP identifies and recognizes organizations, like Piedmont Home Health, that have made patient satisfaction a priority, and award recipients are determined by ranking the overall score for the Home Healthcare Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems survey. It is nationally standardized and publicly reported survey of home health care patients’ perspectives of their skilled home care.
"There is no greater honor than to be recognized as a top provider by our patients through this survey," Hall said. “We look forward to building on this award for years to come and continuing on our dedication to providing the best care to our patients.”
