Mr. and Mrs. Bill Norton announce the engagement of their daughter Magan Leah Norton of Covington to Justin Bass Kennedy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thom Roberts.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Eudell Norton and the late Herman and Estelle Allen, William Norton and Inez Norton. She attended Georgia College and State University, Milledgeville, receiving a Bachelor of Science in nursing. She is a registered nurse at Newton Medical Center.

The future groom is the grandson of Tom and Peggy Baker and Wayne and Martha McMillan. He attended Georgia Military College, Milledgeville, receiving an associate degree is business administration. He is currently completing his bachelor’s degree at Troy University and is employed by Architectural Stone Creations, Conyers, as a sales representative.

The couple plan to wed May 9 at Julia A. Porter Memorial United Methodist Church with a reception following at Indian Creek Golf Club.
