Darrell and Tonia Beam of Covington announce the engagement of their daughter Ashley Nicole Beam to Craig Edward Norton of Conyers, son of Kim and Lee Eskew and the late Gregory Norton of Covington.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Johnny and Bobbie Beam of Covington, Brenda Hall of Jackson and the late Charles Bailey. She is a graduate of Alpha Omega of Covington is employed as a CVS pharmacy technician.

The future groom is the grandson of Rayford and Ruthanne Taylor of Jackson. He is a graduate of Alpha Omega and is employed by Blackburn Designs.

The wedding will be held Sept. 8 at Gaither's Plantation.
