Darryl and E.D. Trimm of Covington are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Tabitha, to Steffen Hooson, son of Bill and Teri Hooson of Covington.
Tabitha and Steffen attended Eastside High School and Georgia Perimeter College in Covington.
After high school, Tabitha travelled to New Zealand and Australia with People to People Ambassadors, studied French at the Sorbonne in Paris, and went to Peru as a volunteer with Projects Abroad to help excavate newly discovered Inca ruins near Machu Picchu. She is currently working towards a degree in architecture at Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta. She also works as a belly dancing instructor for SPSU.
Steffen has travelled to the Republic of Georgia as an ambassador for the Metro-Atlanta YMCA and twice to The Czech Republic as a volunteer for the annual international YMCA World Youth Festival. Steffen works at Wagging Tails Doggie Daycare and Boarding in Midtown.
The wedding is scheduled for mid-June of this year at High Point Farms in the north Georgia mountains.
