Mr. and Mrs. James T. Marston of Covington announce the engagement of their daughter Dr. Sheryl Lynn Henderson to Mr. Philip Edward Wait of Atlanta, son of Mr. and Mrs. Langdon H. Wait of Action, Mass.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Harrison of Anderson, S.C., and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Henderson. She is a graduate of  Newton High School, the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in biology and the Medical College of Georgia with a degree in dental medicine.

The future groom is a graduate of Acton Boxborough Regional High School and of Clemson University.

The wedding will be June 6 at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church, Atlanta.
