Mr. and Mrs. Tony Harris of Covington announce the engagement of their daughter Annie Lucille to Jeffrey Charles Martin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Martin of San Antonio, Texas.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Bill Shadburn of Canton and the late Mr. Shadburn and the late Mr. and Mrs. Walker Harris of Covington. She is a 2005 magna cum laude graduate of Valdosta State University with a Bachelor of Science in early childhood education.

The future groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Martin and Mrs. Bruce Bentley and the late Mr. Bentley, all of Topmost, Ky. He received a bachelor of business administration in marketing from Texas Tech University and a masters in divinity from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is the student minister of Shearer Hills Baptist Church, San Antonio.

The wedding will be Oct. 16 at Gaithers Plantation. Following a wedding trip to Lake Tahoe, the couple will live in San Antonio.
