Michael Biddy used an issue of The Covington News to propose to long time girlfriend Brittany Carter.
On Friday, July 24, Biddy surprised Carter at her place of work with a copy of the paper. With the help of Carter’s employer, Biddy was able to catch her off guard with the paper and a ring.
“Her jaw dropped,” an excited Biddy said.
“It went great, she and everyone that she worked with loved it and she was totally shocked.”
When asked if any plans had been made, Biddy explained that Carter is currently in school and they both want her to finish and stay focused on her education before any planning begins.
Both families are supportive and happy for the young couple and they are hopefully going to celebrate their engagement this weekend.
