Joanne Puia of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and James (Joe) Randolph of Covington were married Jan 1 on the Covington square with Chaplain Sandi officiating.

Serving as matron of honor was Susan Prugh of Buckhead. Serving as bridesmaid was Donna Jones of Bremen, Ky. Best man was Jim Prugh of Buckhead and groomsman was Danny Jones of Bremen.

Beach sand from Florida was mixed with Georgia clay to signify the joining of two families. A reception was held at the home of the bride’s son in Florida. It was attended by both families, including five children and four grandchildren. The couple honeymooned on the west coast of Florida and now reside in Covington.
