Lorien Giles of Carrollton and Steven Moran Jr. of Carrollton were married July 25 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Newnan with Father Matt Greathouse officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Bruce and Vicky Giles of Covington, granddaughter of Mrs. Margaret McCamy of Hiawassi and great-granddaughter of Mrs. Lila Sharp of Cartersville. The groom is the son Steven Moran Sr. of Newnan and Theresa Moran of Covington and grandson of Bill and Annette Moran of Englewood, Fla., and Mr. Vernan Butler of Marrow.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Serving as maid of honor was Brook Carpentier of Covington. Bridesmaids were Chelsey Giles of Athens, Tori Lee of Covington and Shannon Strawn of Covington.

Serving as best man was Steven Moran. Groomsmen were David Stull, Chris Lewis and Alex Johnson, all of Newnan. Flower girl was Hannah Holms of Gulfport, Miss. Ring bearer was David Stull Jr. of Newnan.

Music was provided by Arthur Shand on violin and Josh Duncan on organ.

The reception was held at the Major Long House in Newnan. The couple honeymooned in Daytona Beach and now live in Carrollton.
