COVINGTON, Ga. - Calling all artists! Are you a painter or sculptor? Would you like to display your work in Downtown Covington? Registration is now open for the Downtown Covington Art Walk.
The Downtown Covington Art Walk is a new event being hosted by Main Street Covington to celebrate our local artistic talent! The event will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, July 21. Visitors can expect to see the work of at least 30 artists along the Art Walk. Visitors and enthusiasts will find a variety of types of art styles and mediums. The downtown sidewalks are sure to be filled with unexpected talent and entertainment.
All local artists are encouraged to participate. If you register before July 1, your registration is completely free. If you register after July 1, the registration fee is $20 per space. Each artist is allowed a maximum of two spaces. Each artist will have a pre-assigned space on the sidewalk in Downtown Covington. The spaces will each be 8 feet wide and 3 feet deep. There is no height restriction. Some spaces will have limited access to electricity.
Artists that are affiliated within the following genres are encouraged to participate:

The Downtown Covington Art Walk is open to artists ages 10 and older. Artists under the age of 18 must have permission from parent/guardian to participate.
