John and Sharon Williams recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with friends on a Mediterranean/Greek Isle Cruise. The couple have two sons, Stewart and wife Amy of Social Circle, John Ed and wife Anne of Knoxville, Tenn. They have five grandchildren, Katie, Jacob, Emily of Knoxville and Anna and Kyia of Social Circle.

A reception in the couple's honor will take place from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 28 at Hard Labor Creek State Park at the enclosed Pavilion No. 1. Friends and relatives are invited.
