Minnie L and John L. Martin were married Sept. 16, 1949 in Morgan County, Madison. They had three children, Gloria Mosby, the late Dolores Smith and Milton Martin. Their 60 years of marriage, they say, is based on the word of God. “Above all, love each other deeply,” (1 Peter, 4-8, NIV).
