MANSFIELD, Ga. - Don’t miss out on a chance to improve your handgun knowledge and skills, and experience fun and friendship. The Beyond Becoming an Outdoors Woman (BBOW) program offers an “Advanced Women’s Handgun Workshop” this September at the Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center.
“BOW is an educational program offering hands-on workshops to women of all ages and physical ability levels, and aims to break down barriers to female participation in outdoor activities by providing a safe and supportive learning environment,” says Jody Rice, Georgia BOW Coordinator.
Advanced Women’s Handgun Workshop (sponsored by Glock): Sept. 8-10, 2017; Cost $395 - This Advanced Women's Handgun training course covers safety, brief review of basics, drawing from a holster, magazine changes, malfunction drills, and hands-on practicing. Prerequisite: You must have completed a BOW Women's Handgun Preparedness Class to attend this class.
