Willie B. Stapp, 42, of Mansfield, died Oct. 5. He was employed with the city of Mansfield and attended the Church of Covington. Mr. Stapp loved working in the yard, model cars, fishing, working on lawn mowers and anything that pertained to the outdoors. Mr. Stapp was a devoted husband, father, brother and friend to many. He was preceded in death by his mother, Agnes Johnson Stapp.

Surviving are wife Darlene Stapp; daughters Brittany Stapp and Abby Stapp, all of Mansfield; father Waymon George Stapp; sisters and brothers-in-law Kathleen and Billy Hooper of Social Circle, Marie and Danny Simmons of Monticello; brothers and sisters-in-law Waymon Stapp, Jessie and Jackie Stapp, Johnny and Wanda Stapp, all of Covington.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today, Oct. 7, at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, Floyd Street Chapel, 3134 Floyd St., with the Rev. Gary Day officiating. Interment will follow in Lawnwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family for funeral expenses may be made to Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, PO Box 360, Covington, or to the city of Mansfield, PO Box 35, Mansfield, GA, 30055.
