Newton County Sheriff's investigators are on the lookout for a man who reportedly kidnapped two women and a small child last Tuesday.

The suspect, whose name is not currently being released, reportedly kidnapped his ex-girlfriend, her sister and an infant at gunpoint after he was denied entrance to the victim's home.

According to a report by NCSO Deputy Kevin Roper, the suspect broke into the house's backdoor using a credit card before pulling a gun on the victims and ordering them from the residence into a car belonging to one of the victims..

After driving around for an unspecified amount of time, the suspect reportedly let one of the women and the infant out in the area of Settlers Grove Road.

The other victim was later able to escape through unknown means.

"The case is still under investigation and an arrest is pending," said NCSO Lt. Bill Watterson.
