Mr. Tellis Sherrod Wood died April 12. He was born in 1980 in Newton County and attended Heritage High School. He was employed by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, in Conyers, and had a business called TSW Home Decorator. He was preceded in death by grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Willie Edward (Grace) Wood, Mr. Pete Duffy and Mr. John Robert Turner.

Surviving are mother Ms. Ella Lucille Turner; father Mr. Rudolph Duffy; stepfather Mr. Lonzie Lee Turner; sons Mr. Devontae Sherrod Wood; daughter Ms. Kya Sherrae Grace Wood; brothers Mr. Tavaris Latrail Wood, Mr. Cedrick Martez Turner; stepbrothers Mr. Randolph Price, Mr. Greg Turner; sister Ms. Lashundra Corine-Leigh Turner; stepsisters Ms. Hedi Howard, Ms. Tamega Turner, Ms. Jennetta Turner, Ms. Erica Turner, Ms. Tiffany Turner, Ms. Katie Alexander; grandmother Ms. Rudy Duffy; step grandmother Ms. Mamie Turner; adopted grandmother Ms. Lovely Lee; aunts Elsie, Sheila, Gloria Jean, Stella, Elizabeth, Irene, Martha, Doris; uncles Frank, John, Freddie, Mike, Ludie, Eunice; devoted friends Christina Holder, Matt Rouse; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. April 19 at Early Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. Kenneth Williams and Minister Marcello Banes officiating. Interment followed at Flat Shoals Cemetery.
