Dear Editor: Thank you so mulch for the great coverage of the most successful 179th Salem Campmeeting.

The pictures that Mandi Singer took captured the spirit of campmeeting, and I hope they will earn her a third first place award in photography by the Georgia Press Association. She worked overtime to capture the candlelight closing ceremony, and I will never forget her going up an extension ladder into the top of the tabernacle to get that great picture that was on the front page of your July 6 edition. She is a great asset to The Covington News.

And Michelle Kim and Jason Murdock's articles were very informative. Both of these reporters are new, and I look forward to reading future articles by them.

We had over 15 states represented at Salem, and our attendance was over 10,000 for the entire meeting.
