Mr. and Mrs. Joseph (Candice) Reed announce the engagement of their daughter Camethia Reed of Covington to Marcus Hardeman, son of Bobby English and Brenda Hardeman of Covington.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Howard Lee Lowe and Dorothy Lee Lowe. She is a graduate of Eastside High School and is currently enrolled in Georgia Perimeter College pursuing a degree in early childhood education.

The groom is the grandson of Billy and Sara Hardeman. He is currently employed at Guardian Automotive in Covington.

The couple plan to wed Aug. 16 at Always Banquet Center, Conyers.
