Mr. Omra L. Kitchens, 90, of Covington, died March 28. Mr. Kitchens, son of the late Andrew and Minnie Parker Kitchens, was born July 1, 1917 in Newton County. He was of the Baptist faith and was a lifelong resident in Newton County.

Mr. Kitchens is survived by his daughter, Annette Cagle of Covington; sons and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Polly Kitchens of Covington and Lamar Kitchens of Mansfield. He is also survived by one brother, Hulon Kitchens of Conyers; six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services for Mr. Kitchens will be held at 4 p.m. today, March 30, at County Line Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Andy Parker officiating.
