Mrs. Nellie Sue Townley butler, 84, of Oxford, died Sept. 8 at New London health Center, Snellville. Mrs. Butler was the founder and executive director of Rockdale House for men and women in Conyers. She was preceded in death by a sister and grandchild.

Surviving are husband Brad Butler of Oxford; sons Kenneth David Booth, Fayetteville, Tommy Lee Booth, Oxford; daughter Diane Booth Chandler, Ellenwood; brother Howard Townley of Vidalia; sister Margie Sharp of Huntsville, Ala.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, in the chapel of Harwell-Funeral Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery, Oxford. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Sept. 10, at the funeral home.
