Mr. and Mrs. Joe B. (Elizabeth) Parker celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with friends and family at a reception given by their children and their families Oct. 21. They were married at Julia A. Porter Methodist Church, Oct. 18, 1957, with her brother the Rev. Clarence Lamar Cawthon performing the ceremony.

They have three children, Debbie, Scott and DeAnn, and five grandchildren and have lived in the Stewart Community for their 50 years together.
