Mary "Frances" Fleming, 88, of Covington, died April 20 at Abbey Hospice. The daughter of the late Charlie A. and Eula Bailey McCord she was born in Newton County and was a charter member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Fleming was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother and loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by husband C. W. Fleming and son James Lee Fleming.

Surviving are daughter-in-law Janice Fleming of Covington; granddaughters Ronda Ellis of Covington, Holly Fleming of Loganville, Jana Fleming of Covington; great-granddaughter Erin Still of Loganville; great-great-granddaughter Macee Still of Loganville; sister Mamie Lee Durand of Covington.

Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. April 22 in the Access Road chapel of Caldwell & Cowan with the Rev. James West and the Rev. Todd Heil officiating. Interment followed in Lawnwood Memorial Park.
