Mrs. Karl (Marian) Wooster, 89, of Covington, entered the present of the Lord July 2. The daughter of the late Fritz L. and Ethel L. South Tallent, she was a pastor's wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and was a faithful member of The Assemblies of God. Mrs. Wooster enjoyed reading, playing the organ and singing and was a prayer warrior who taught Sunday school for many years. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years the Rev. Karl O. Wooster.
Surviving are daughter and son-in-law Karen and Martin Miley of Covington; sons and daughters-in-law Rodney and Kathleen Wooster of Snellville, Wayne and Jane Wooster of oxford, Keith and Shirley Wooster of Winterville; grandchildren Kathy and Ronnie Parker, Matthew and Marci Wooster, Paul and Allison Miley, Travis Wooster, Kevin Wooster, Jared Miley, Jonathan Miley; great-granddaughter Calah Miley.
Funeral serviced will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 7, in the Access Road chapel of Caldwell & Cowan with the Rev. Ron Compton and Associate pastor Jared Miley officiating. Interment will follow at Green meadow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, July 6, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to The River Assembly of God Church, 75 Greers Dairy Road, Covington, 30014.
