Margaret Nash Zorn

Margaret Nash Zorn, 90, of Covington, died Jan. 18. She was born in 1917 in Tampa Fla., and moved to Jacksonville as a small child, living there most of her life. After serving her family as a dedicated wife and mother for many years, Mrs. Zorn retired from Methodist Hospital. In Jacksonville, she was a longtime member of North Main Street Baptist Church and more recently of First Presbyterian Church, Covington. She was a member of the Gainesville Women of the Moose, Melrose Woman's Club and Kirby Smith Junior High School and Andrew Jackson High School PTAs. Mrs. Zorn was a descendant of the Edwards and Pearce families, which are recognized by the Florida State Genealogical Society as Florida pioneers. She was preceded in death by husband of 53 years Leslie G. Zorn Jr. and sister Madeline N. Hall.

Surviving are sister Mildred N. Beshears; daughters Margaret Ann Hollingsworth (Michael) and Becky Wade (Donald); son Guy Zorn (Gail); grandchildren Adam Hollingsworth (Amy), Scott Wade (Chana), Jennifer Crews (Greer), Lesley Seaton (Brian), Clark Wade (Laura); great-grandchildren Caroline and Mason Seaton, Jackson Scott Wade, Katie Crews, Hugh Michael Hollingsworth; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held Jan. 21 in Melrose, Fla., with the Rev. Jeff Martin officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Jacksonville Public Library-Talking Books Program, 303 N. Laura St., Jacksonville, FL 32202.
