Louise Wall Steward

Louise Wall Steward, of Covington, died June 14 at Westberry Health Center, Conyers. The daughter of the late Julius Pierce and Ardella Johnston Wall, she was born in 1920. She was the widow of Edgar H. "Bid" Steward. Mrs. Stewart was a long-time member of Zion Baptist Church where she worked as a secretary for many years. She also worked for Bibb Manufacturing in the spool room for several years before she began work at Zion Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by sisters Ruth Plunkett King and Beatrice Wall and Brother Horace P. Wall.

Surviving are brothers J.P. Wall of Conyers, Jimmy Wall of Newborn; nephews Joseph Wall and David Wall, both of Conyers; several great-nieces and -nephews.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. June 17 at Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Reese Sanders officiating. Interment followed at Zion Baptist church Cemetery.
