Louise Shupe

Mrs. Louise Shupe, 97, of Conyers, died March 29. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church and the Otis Nixon Sunday school class. Mrs. Shupe retired from the U.S. Government Quartermasters after 30 years of employment. She loved to travel and made many picture albums. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence O. Shupe, parents, Thomas Conner and Vashti Mehetttibell Parker and sister, Vashti Skinner.

Mrs. Shupe is survived by her brothers, Edward M. Parker Sr. of Griffin and Charles J. Parker of Jersey; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Shupe will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 1 at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, Covington, with interment following at Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, March 31.
