Louise Sams Fogarty, 88, of Macon, died Dec. 17. Mrs. Fogarty was born in Newton County, was a member of Mulberry Street United Methodist Church and retired from Robins Air Force Base.

Surviving are husband Jimmy Fogarty of Macon; nephews Wayne Sams of Newborn, Donald Sams of Sarasota, Fla., and Randy Sams of Lizella; nieces Ellen Sams Davis of Hopkinton, N.H., and Patricia Sams Powell of Charlottesville, Fla.; several great-nephews and great-nieces.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Dec. 20 at the Mulberry Street United Methodist Church with Bishop C. W. Hancock and the Rev. Cile Mitchell officiating. Burial followed in Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Macon Outreach, P.O. Box 149, Macon, GA 31202, or to the donor's favorite charity.
