Lillie (Louise) Stone, 84, of Covington, died Dec. 24. The daughter of the late Troy and Carrie Lloyd Mobley, she was born in Newton County. She was retired from Piedmont Molding and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and beloved grandmother.

Surviving are husband of 66 years, Dewey F. Stone of Almon; son Frank D. Stone of Almon; daughters Geneva Ellis of Oxford and Euvonda Harrison of Monroe; son Robert A. Stone of Covington; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister JoAnn Autry of Covington.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today, Dec. 28, in the Floyd Street chapel of Caldwell & Cowan with the Rev. Larry Cannon and the Rev. Todd Heil officiating. Interment will follow in Austin Chapel Cemetery.
