Laura Mae Mills, 95, of Covington, died Nov. 14. The daughter of the late Jerry Malone and Maggie Lester Love, she was born in 1912. Mrs. Mills was a homemaker, a long-time member of Zion Baptist Church and a life-time resident of Newton County. "Nanny" was a very loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with her family. Mrs. Mills was preceded in death by husband Charles Whitfield Mills, son Eugene Reagin and granddaughter Shelia Reagin Williams.

Surviving are son and daughter-in-law Q.E. Jr. and Fay Reagin of Covington; grandchildren Kelly and Marian Reagin, Wanda and Johnny Bruce, Tracy and Linda Reagin, Scott and Marci Reagin; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; sister and brother-in-law Pearl and C.T. Fisher, Griffin; brother and sister-in-law James and Nellie Jo Love, Stockbridge; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, in the chapel of Caldwell 7 Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, with the Rev. Reese Sanders officiating. Interment will follow at Lawnwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be today, Nov. 16, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to Zion Baptist Church, 7037 Ga. Highway 212, Covington, 30016.
