Two juvenile boys and an adult man were involved in a brawl outside Blockbuster on Turner Lake Road Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Covington Police Department incident report, the fight began when juvenile one stood outside the video store and demanded juvenile two come out and confront him. Juvenile two later told a CPD officer he was not afraid of juvenile one so he went outside.

When the two met outside, juvenile one reportedly said he heard juvenile two had been talking badly about him and thought they needed to settle the matter man to man. As juvenile two responded, juvenile one's older brother exited his car and reportedly told juvenile two he could not expect to talk to his brother like that without repercussions.

The older brother then reportedly picked juvenile two up from the legs and slammed him to the ground. After juvenile two recovered enough to regain his footing, words were exchanged and juvenile one reportedly punched juvenile two in the head above his right eye. The older brother then picked juvenile two up off the ground and attempted to smash him into the ground again, but the juvenile was able to pull free.

Juvenile one and his brother reportedly left the parking lot. The CPD was later called by juvenile two's mother.

Once at the scene, a CPD officer was able to clearly see juvenile two's injuries. His story was also confirmed by witnesses inside the store.

As of press time, no arrests had been made in the case.
