Mrs. Justine (Tina) Boswell Dorsey died Aug. 11. The daughter of the late Mr. Homer Boswell and Mrs. Vera Jones Franklin, she was born in 1959. She was raised in Mansfield and educated in the Newton County School system. Mrs. Dorsey worked at Pine Valley Farm for over a decade and was also employed by Bibb Manufacturing and Super 8 Hotel. She joined Bethel Grove Baptist Church at an early age. Mrs. Dorsey enjoyed fishing, watching old western movies, playing horseshoes, and baking. She was a devoted friend and a loving person who always had a smile on her face.

Surviving are husband Mr. Anthony (Tony) Dorsey; daughters Ms. Shermette "Mette" Boswell, Ms. Alicia "Biddy" Boswell; stepfather Mr. Sylvester Stanford; stepmother Mrs. Hattie Boswell; father-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Willie Dorsey; stepchildren Ms. Catalata Stokes, Ms. LaKisha Williams, Mr. and Mrs. Carey (Takisha) David, Ms. Melissa Glover, Ms. Equalla Butler, Mr. Antonio Dorsey, Mr. Martel Dorsey; grandchildren Fewentez, Desirae, Tamra, Carmesha, Malika, Elexas, Cortesha, ZaNautica; 12 stepgrandchildren; siblings Ms. Theresa Banks, Mr. and Mrs. Al (Andrea) Hutchinson, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald (Joyce) Duncan, Ms. Melissa Boswell, Pastor & Mrs. Kenney Boswell, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Boswell, Mr. Willie Boswell, Mr. Luther smith; four step siblings; sisters-in-law Ms. Jennifer Simmons, Ms. Dorlene Arnold; brother-in-law Mr. Marcus Dorsey; best friend and cousin Ms. Laverne Smith; four special relatives Valencia, Shantica, Calvin and Travis Dorsey; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 16 at Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church, Mansfield, with Minister Charlie Stanford officiating. Interment followed at Poplar Hill A.M.E. Church Cemetery.
