Mr. Jody Kevin Lynch, 49, of Covington, died Nov. 1 at Abbey Hospice, Social Circle. Mr. Lynch enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an avid Georgia football fan. He was a member of Porterdale Presbyterian Church and attended Lead By The Spirit Mission. He is preceded in death by father Horace W. Lynch.

Surviving are wife Denise Lynch of Covington; daughter Jodi Morgan Lynch; sons Matthew Dale Edge, Mark Dennis Edge; grandchildren Taylor Edge, Sarah Ann Edge; mother Kathleen Kite Lynch, all of Covington; sister Kathy Jo Haydell of Lafayette, La.; brother Bruce Wayne Lynch of Katy, Texas, William Stacy Lynch of Covington; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, in the Floyd Street chapel of Caldwell & Cowan with the Rev. William Cody Lynch and Pastor Mickey Moss officiating. Interment will follow at Lawnwood Memorial park. A gathering of friends and family will take place at the Floyd Street location of Caldwell & Cowan Saturday, Nov. 3, from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m.
