Mr. Jack Gordon Stickel, 61, of Woodstock died July 11. The son of the late Jack Gordon Stickel Sr. and the late Margaret Elizabeth Garrett Stickel, he was born in Fulton County in 1945. He was the owner of Stickel Trucking Company in Woodstock and enjoyed photography and working on cars. Mr. Stickel was preceded in death by parents, sister Elizabeth Edwards and niece Ann Marie Bryson.

Surviving are sister Barbara Stickel of Covington; sister and brother-in-law Frances and Lee Swann of Covington, nephews Steve Swann, Chris and Parrish Swann, Daniel Swann; niece Sharron and Chet Key; great-nephew Scott Swann; several other family members.

The family will receive friends at Wheeler Funeral Home today, July 13, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 14, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home with the Rev. Lynn Strozier officiating. Interment will be at 2:30 p.m. at Crest Lawn Memorial Park, Marietta.
