Mrs. Hilda Dial Daniel, of Covington, formerly of Spartanburg, S.C., died Oct. 6 at Heartland Hospice. The daughter of the late Sylvester and Emma Sue Jones Dial, she was born in Newton County. Mrs. Daniel was a member of Julia A. Porter United Methodist Church, Porterdale.

Surviving are husband of 64 years Mr. Fred E. Daniel, sons and daughters-in-law Gary and Bobbie Daniel of Savannah, Scott and Sheila Daniel of Dublin; grandchildren Chase, Kyle and David Daniel and Dana Schwarz; great-grandchildren Trevor and Colin Daniel and Samantha Gmitro; sister Mrs. Mildred Hood, Douglasville.

The family will receive friends at Wheeler Funeral Home today, Oct. 10, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. with memorial services at 2 p.m. with the Rev. John Ozley and the Rev. Jim Moore officiating. Flowers accepted or donations may be made to Heartland Hospice, 1374 Manchester Dr., Conyers, 30012.
