Today is a holiday for us here at The Covington News. The staff and their families are out celebrating this grand day.
Sometimes we all take for granted why we celebrate some of the holidays we do.
We hope as you enjoy your day with your families that you take a few moments to remember our leaders, our military and the men and woman who are working today to keep this great country of ours rolling on.
We ask you to be watchful of your children, especially around the water. We ask you not to drink and drive. Please have the courage if you do drink to hand those keys over to someone who has not been drinking.
We ask God to keep his hand upon our country on its 232th birthday.
Please make this a special day of joy and celebration with your family.
All of us here at The Covington News wish you a glorious and happy Fourth of July.
