Mr. Ernest Reba Ozburn, 77, of Porterdale, died July 5. The son of the late Thomas and Lottie Aaron Hamby Ozburn, he was born in 1931 in Newborn County. Mr. Ozburn was a lifelong resident of Newton County and member of Julia A. Porter United Methodist Church, Porterdale. He worked for Guardian Automotive and Covington Molding and worked as a milkman delivering milk throughout Newton County.

Surviving are cousins Mildred Clay, Oxford; J.W. Aaron, Albertville, Ala.; Charlyn Varner, Covington; Roy Pickrell, Douglasville; Dan Aaron, Covington; and Grace Johnson, Covington.

Graveside services wee held at 11 a.m. July 8 at Gibson Cemetery with the Rev. Todd Heil officiating.
