Mr. De'Andelow Monchellis (Dink) White died Aug. 10. The son of Ms. Sequetta White and Mr. Tyrone Brooks, he was born in 1988 in Newton County. Mr. White graduated from Newton County High School in 2007. He joined Springfield Baptist Church at an early age. All who met him respected him. He was a child growing up to become a great man.

Surviving are mother Ms. Sequetta White; father Mr. Tyrone Brooks; siblings Jasmine White, Hernequa Nolley, Tryen Brooks, Shakerri Brooks, Kashoni Boswell, Quint Terrell, Tydarious Benton; grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Orell (Shirley) Smith, Ms. Catherine Smith, Ms. Shirley White of Toledo, Ohio, Mrs. Mattie Brooks; great-grandparents Mrs. Dollie Kate White of Ohio; uncles Mr. and Mrs. Gregory (Cecelia) Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Jerrick (Keda) Bell, Varnard Cook, Timothy Bell, Jermaine and Christopher; aunt Ms. Titinia Price, of Covington; a host of other aunts and uncles from Toledo; great-aunts Mrs. Eula Petterson of Madison, Mrs. Ruby Nell Gallaway of Toledo; great uncles Mr. Roy Lee Johnson; a host of cousins and friends; very special friend Ms. Tiffany Blackstock.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Aug. 14 at Springfield Baptist Church, Newborn, with Minister Charlie Stanford officiating. Interment followed at Springfield Memorial Gardens.
