Covington YMCA hosting 2007 Holiday Camp

The Covington Family YMCA is hosting the 2007 Holiday Camp beginning Dec. 24-31st.

The camp is designed to involve young athletes using a number of sports. It is also designed to encourage exercise in a positive environment.

On Dec. 24 and Dec. 31, the hours for both days will be from 6:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The cost is $85 for currently enrolled students, or $100 for students not enrolled. The daily rate is $25.

A morning and afternoon snack will be provided by the YMCA; however, children are encouraged to bring his/her own sack lunch.

Registration forms, which must be submitted along with payment, may be picked up at the YMCA.

WRESTLING

Black Watch Wrestling hosting F.R.O.S.T.

The Black Watch Wrestling presents F.R.O.S.T. (Fully Relying On Simple Techniques), which is a program designed to introduce young athletes to the sport of wrestling.

The event, which is held at Lifepointe Church of the Nazarene, began Monday and continues from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

The cost is $10, and wrestlers are encouraged to wear jogging pants, T-Shirt and tennis shoes.
