Charlotte McKnight, 65, of Covington, died Jan. 28 at Newton Medical Center. The daughter of Ben and Frances Allen Stowe, she was born in Walton County. Ms. McKnight worked in the healthcare industry. She was a member of lead by the Spirit church, was active in prison ministry and dearly loved her church and family. Ms. McKnight enjoyed flower gardening and quilting.

Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law Larry and Sondra Hogan of Newborn, Thomas McKnight and Randy Hogan of Covington, Jerry Hogan, Dwight and Debra Hogan, all of Monroe; grandchildren Amanda, Staci, Jessica, Katlin, Kayla, Aaron, Stephen; great-granddaughter Kylie; sisters Doris Waites of Covington, Rita Stowe; brothers Billy Joe Burnett of Conyers, Nathan Stowe; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today, Jan. 30, in the Floyd Street chapel of Caldwell & Cowan with the Rev. Bill Calhoun and the Rev. Barney Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Covington Mill Cemetery.
