Allen K. Carr, 44, died Feb. 8. Mr. Carr was born in 1963 in Baker County, attended Lowndes County High School in Valdosta and was a concrete finisher with Ben Macieroy.

Surviving are loving companion Terri Ann Nix of Newborn, son Kyle Allen Carr of Conyers and foster parents Mike and Karen Tabb of Albany.

A memorial service will be scheduled by the funeral home.
