MUMBAI, India -- Police have taken at least seven people out of the luxury Oberoi hotel in Mumbai, one of three buildings where gunmen are still holding hostages in India's financial capital.

One of the rescued hostages told reporters he had seen many bodies inside the hotel. He did not give his name.

He refused to give more details, saying he had promised police not to discuss the rescue while it was ongoing.

At least 104 people are dead and more than 300 wounded following a suspected militant attack on more than 10 sites in Mumbai.
