After wrapping up the second day of the Newton High School girl’s summer basketball camp, head coach Tiffani Johnson answered a few hard-hitting questions from The Covington News.

What’s your favorite movie?

I have a top three. Love Jones, Brown Sugar and Love & Basketball.

What’s your favorite thing to do when you’re not at work?

I have a couple of TV shows like Scandal and Black Box. When I’m winding down at the end of the day, I like to watch movies. I’m a socializer. I like to just socialize and hang out and that’s my relaxation.

What’s your favorite genre of music?

R&B and Neo-soul.

Do you have a favorite R&B artist?

Erykah Badu is my all-time favorite artist.

Do you have a favorite men’s basketball coach or women’s basketball coach?

Vivian Stringer. I like the type of athletes she recruits. I love how she just handles those girls and she’s been doing it for so long. She’s a legend. I love Vivian Stringer.

Do you have a favorite college team that you roOT for?

I’m a (North) Carolina fan, even though we’re up and down with girls’ and boys’ basketball, but I’m a Carolina fan.

Do you have a favorite professional team?

I’m a “Dirty Bird.” I like the Falcons, although you know we’re up and down again. I’m a Falcons fan and I’m originally from Massachusetts, so I’m also a Patriots fan. So I go for my two home teams.

So you were born in Massachusetts?

Yes. I moved here when I was 12.
