Virginia Carr

Mrs. Virginia Carr was born July 9, 1924, to the late Mr. & Mrs. James (Julia) Terrell in Morgan County. She was one of five children.

She loved her garden and cooking home cooked meals. She was a God-fearing woman and enjoyed going to church until her health declined. She was the neighborhood “Mom” to all that knew her, referring to her as “Big Mama”.

She was preceded in death by husband, Mr. Charles H. Carr, Sr.; sons, Mr. Charles H. Carr, Jr., Mr. Ronnie L. Carr and Mr. Rudy B Carr.

Virginia will forever be remembered and will continue to hold a special place in everyone’s heart that knew her. She leaves to cherish her memories, loving and devoted daughters, Mrs. Anna Sims, Ms. Patsy A. Carr and Mrs. Cherry Griffin; son, Mr. & Mrs. Ricky (Sharon) Carr and a host of grandchildren, great- grandchildren and countless other family and friends.
