NCSO recognizes promotions

The Newton County Sheriff’s Office (NCSO) recently promoted two employees; Deputy Jacob Rice and Deputy Steve Walden were both promoted to the rank of corporal.

Rice will oversee the H.E.A.T. Unit and Deputy Walden will oversee a shift in the Patrol Division. 

Special recognition of their recent promotions was given during a ceremony presided over by Chief Deputy Jerry Carter.
