Do you think that police should have the power to randomly scan your licence plates even if you are doing nothing wrong?

If you are not doing anything wrong then you should not have a problem with it.

I agree, first this, then what? Next you stop me for no reason to check who I am, or search my vehicle for no reason? I have nothing to hide because I do nothing wrong, so I think the police officers need to move on and help with the things they are here protect and serve.

Scanning license plates has helped recover many stolen vehicles. This only, if Im correct, checks the license plate against the stolen vehicle data base.
