Do you believe there is a conflict of interest with J.C. Henderson serving on the county Board of Commissioners while he is also the chairman of the Nelson Heights Community Center Board of Directors?

You guys need to worry about how you voted Ellis into office and now he's RAISING taxes. People can barely pay their mortgages with the way of today's economy. Or even the fact that if our kids don't have money to pay for lunch they ONLY GET A FALSE PEANUT BUTTER SANDWICH & A JUICE to carry them through their day; BUT SOME HOW THE NEWTON BOE CAN PAY A SUPERINTENDENT A 6 FIGURE SALARY!! REALLY?!! WAKE UP PEOPLE, YOU ARE VOICING YOUR OPINIONS AT THE WRONG AREA. Who cares about how many jobs JC Henderson has to take care of his family, I don't. I have NEVER seen in the paper how Tommy Haley, who's over the Newton County Recreation department, misuse money or even keeps people on his payroll that has stolen money from the department, employees that have been arrested for drugs and DUIs. BE A REAL REPORTER AND GET THE FACTS IN THE PAPER, not this side wall BS.

J.C. Henderson is crooked. Just be straight about it. Nobody has proof he takes bribes but he votes more erratically than any other commissioner. He has had troubles with the law for domestic violence, which seemingly have disappeared. Now, after the Mort Ewing appointment, J.C. is suddenly given the position he wanted at Nelson Heights??? Come on.. this guy needs to be investigated by the grand jury.
