Are you willing to pay increased taxes to alleviate the Newton School systems future anticipated deficit?

This is an absolute stupid poll question in Newton County. Already maxed out on property tax and can't make a go of it. They don't need money. They need better leadership

I believe that Newton County could attract more (quantity) responsible retirees if they would do as all the counties around them and do away with school taxes for the elderly. They have paid their share and make far less than the families under 65. By doing this you would lose to gain far more in quantity and tax paying residents, for responsible elderly would pay into to county tax base. We could gain much wisdom from this older population and far more volunteer time where we need it.
