The thought of armed citizens confronting decent people going about their own business scares me. While the actions of the police in this case leaves a lot to be desired, I think firing the two deputies absent willful wrongdoing is a little too drastic. Certainly an official reprimand, the loss of vacation days, retraining and ethical awareness classes would be more appropriate. These firings will no doubt send a chilling effect through the men and women who put their lives on the line to protect us.
Why put yourself in danger! Call the police and stay on the phone with them and tell them what you are witnessing. I don't know about you, but my life is way more valuable than some materialistic property that can & will be replaced. IT'S NOT WORTH IT! CALL THE POLICE, THEY ARE THERE TO "PROTECT & SERVE".
