The Georgia Bureau of Investigation along with Newton County Sheriff’s Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a suspected murderer by the name of Brandon Hambrick. Hambrick has active arrest warrants for the crime of murder in reference to the death of Alvin Hall. Hall’s body was found in his burned vehicle the evening of December 30 on McGiboney Lane in Newton County near the Rockdale County line.

Brandon Hambrick is described as an 18-year-old black male, 5’ 11” tall, 180 pounds and is known to frequent the Scottdale area in DeKalb County. 

Candice Pope, 27,  has already been arrested and charged with murder in connection with this case.  

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Hambrick is asked to contact the GBI Tip Line at 1-800-597-TIPS(8477).
